Mina Koike, Piano Teacher

Mina Koike is a Japanese pianist and a chamber music player for the artist company Florestan.  She received a bachelor’s degree at Toho Conservatory in Tokyo, Japan studying with Fujiko Yamada, and Master degree and Professional study degree at Mannes College in New York with Victor Rosenbaum.

Ms. Koike has won several competitions including the 16th Young Artist Piano Competition in Japan 2009, the Neo Classic International Competition in 2010, second prize at the 2015 American Protégé Competition, and an Honorable Mention at Five Towns Music and Arts Foundation Young Musician Competition in New York.

Mina Koike has performed in world-class venues such as Carnegie Hall in New York and Oji Hall in Tokyo. Her first solo CD was released on Florestan label in 2011.
