Katie von Braun received her Master of Music from the San Francisco Conservatory and her Bachelor of Music and Minor in Anthropology from the University of Michigan. She is on faculty at the Harmony Program and a teaching intern at Opus 118 East Harlem School of Music. She has previously taught violin at the Ethical Culture School, Amabile School of Music, BLUME Haiti and Conservatory in the Schools in San Francisco. Currently, Katie performs with the Washington Heights Chamber Orchestra, Orchestra of the Bronx, Dell'Arte Opera Ensemble, Chelsea Symphony and Blue Hill Theatre Troupe. Her previous teachers included Ian Swensen, Yehonatan Berick and Lynn Chang. When she isn't teaching or performing music, Katie loves traveling, reading and spending time in nature. Katie von Braun is a faculty violin instructor at the Fort Lee School of Music.
